Founder and CEO
Chakri Deverapalli
Chakri Deverapalli is a serial tech entrepreneur with 20 years of experience in higher education. He has spent his career solving problems using technology while creating opportunities. He believes in the power of educational technologies that turn data into insight, leading to successful outcomes for all.
Chief Operating Officer
William (Ivey) MacKenzie, PhD
Ivey MacKenzie is a management professor and former higher-ed administrator. He received his Ph.D. in Business Administration from the University of South Carolina. In addition to his work with students, he brings his experience in accreditation management to the RAGASEDU team.
Chief Communications Officer
Ryan Weber, PhD
Ryan Weber is a technical writer, writing teacher, and UX enthusiast. He received his PhD from Purdue University in 2009 and has 12 years of experience as a professor in higher ed. In 2014, he participated in a team that won funding from the Alabama Launchpad competition.

Jennifer Pettitt is a seasoned higher education professional with over 21 years of experience, including roles in academic advising, administration, and marketing. She is passionate about supporting student success. Jennifer holds an MBA from the University of Alabama in Huntsville (UAH).

Alan Medders, PhD
Alan G. Medders has spent over 25 years in public and private higher education and brings a wealth of leadership and administrative experience to RAGASEDU. Alan holds a BA from Samford University, a Master’s of Divinity and Doctor of Ministry from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary and Ph.D. in Higher Education Administration from The University of Tennessee.
